  • Growth-Phase Legal Leadership: Joined a healthcare technology company as its first lawyer at approximately 400 employees and helped lead the legal function through a complex merger and IPO, scaling to a global public company with more than 6,500 employees across 27 countries. Served as a key legal partner during the company’s transition from startup to NASDAQ-listed organization.

  • Governance: Corporate secretary experience, led corporate governance initiatives, including drafting key governance documents, preparing board and committee materials, and managing board resolutions. Advised the board and executive leadership on corporate risk, compliance, and best practices to ensure strong governance at the enterprise level.

  • Strategic Advisor to Executive Leadership: Trusted advisor to C-suite and senior leadership on healthcare and technology products, corporate strategy, risk management, and global regulatory matters. Provided practical, business-oriented legal guidance across the U.S., Europe, and APAC.

  • Crisis Management & Governance: Held leadership roles on global corporate committees overseeing crisis management, business continuity, and enterprise-wide change efforts. Co-led global crisis response initiatives, including return-to-work planning and cross-functional data privacy governance.

  • M&A and Corporate Transactions: Served as lead deal lawyer on domestic and international M&A, including approximately $5B in technology and corporate acquisitions across the U.S., Europe, Brazil, and APAC. Led diligence, negotiated LOIs and transaction documents, managed outside counsel, and oversaw post-acquisition integration. Notable transactions include acquisition of SaaS products, acquisition of an electronic health record product, acquisition of an insurance agency business, acquisition of a large India-based engineering center, and the acquisition and transformation of a global conference series, along with divestiture of a European diagnostics testing business.

  • Legal Operational Excellence: Built and led a global commercial contracting function supporting technology-enabled healthcare, pharmacy services, software, and SaaS businesses. Supervised teams of attorneys and paralegals worldwide; redesigned and implemented a modern contract management systems; and established performance metrics and efficiency initiatives. Successfully resolved a complex contract disputes and litigation, including a SaaS vendor dispute involving a custom-built product, saving the company $1.5M.

  • Global Data Privacy & Security Leadership: Built and implemented a global, cross-functional data privacy program from the ground up with limited resources. Led privacy strategy and incident response across GDPR, LGPD, CCPA, and APAC frameworks in close partnership with security teams. Managed investigations and resolution of reportable consumer data breaches involving PHI, including regulator engagement, customer communications, outside counsel management, and remediation.
